Identify, Understand, and Respond
Offered in partnership with Eagle Valley Behavioral Health, Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to help someone who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. The training helps you identify, understand and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses.
SpeakUp ReachOut is able to provide this course for free to participants via a grant specifically aimed towards training residents in Eagle County, Colorado in suicide prevention. As a result, we must first offer this course to Eagle County residents.
All participants must register in advance. Once registered, you will receive an email from MHFA with pre-course work (self-paced and required to be completed by Monday, October 19th) as well as all Zoom information for the virtual course.
