SpeakUp ReachOut is proud and excited to partner with the Vail Valley Salvation Army to provide this mental health training and community service opportunity.

Presented by Carol Johnson

WHERE: Greenhouse at the Vail Valley Salvation Army.

WHAT: Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR), an award-winning, evidenced based, early-intervention approach to suicide prevention. This educational program is designed to teach lay and "gatekeepers" the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond.

Following the training, participants can stay and help plant bulbs in the Salvation Army garden.

WHO: This event is for adults, parents, co-workers, friends, neighbors and youth ages 16 and up.

WHY: Suicide prevention is for everyone. We can all learn to save lives through this training. Data proves that this training works and can make a difference in someone's life.
