About Barb:

My name is Barb Lodge, Megan’s mom. I have lived in the Eagle Valley since 2001, the year Megan was born. My husband and I raised two amazing daughters, Megan and her sister Kristen. Our lives changed forever when Megan was killed in a car accident while driving home from work.

In the early months after her death, I was just trying to survive. Over the past seven years, I have attended several grief groups and conferences that helped me learn about child loss, grow in empathy, and find ways to move forward. I now feel called to offer other parents a safe place to talk about their child, share their story, and feel understood. My hope is to create a supportive space that helps ease the pain and bring light into the darkness.
