In Memory of Eric Harlan

Dan Purtell, owner of Rocky Mountain Taco, has graciously donated 3 custom-designed skateboards to be auctioned in memory of Eric Harlan. Eric was an incredible personality, staple of the hospitality industry in our valley, and well loved by many who we unfortunately lost to suicide in 2020.

Dan’s hope is to spread awareness about suicide prevention and to break the stigmas surrounding mental health. Getting help does not equal weakness and there are a growing number or resources in Eagle County to turn to. Help us by joining in the tough conversations and spreading the word that those who struggle are not alone.

You can bid on the skateboards on Facebook from November 12-19. All proceeds benefit SpeakUp ReachOut to help further our mission of preventing suicide in Eagle County through training, awareness and HOPE.
