Peer Support Group
Chronic Courage Network
Let's build a community that can understand what's happening inside!
About
Support for adults with chronic medical conditions, chronic or rare illness, and/or chronic pain. A place to connect with others who face similar struggles where you can find support, encouragement, and listening without judgment. We will bring mindful awareness to our bodies, emotions, and minds as we bolster one another through each person's individual needs. Holding space for each person and their story as well as cheering or venting together - let's build a community that can understand what's happening inside, even if no one can see it.
Details
Although we will share resources about what has or has not helped in our journey, this is not a group for medical advice.
This group is held monthly on the last Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.
We will start by offering a monthly in-person meeting to connect. We can add a second group online at a different time as needed.

About Cathy:
Cathy is a local psychotherapist in private practice who has experienced her own chronic needs journey, both previously and currently. She received a Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Missouri and is a licensed clinical social worker. Living in Eagle County for the past 5 years, she enjoys hiking, camping, being on the river, reading, and spending lots of time with her fur babies and plant collection. Cathy has found that sharing the chronic struggles inherent with chronic illness is helped tremendously by finding people who can understand what is often unseen. Visit her site at pinyonhealing.com.
