Loss Assistance Care packages for survivors of suicide

When a family loses a loved one to suicide, they often feel alone in their grief as they try to make sense out of the unimaginable.  Many times the communities that care about them are at a loss of what to say or do, but know their friends need an embrace of care during this very challenging time.  The purpose of the Loss Assistance Care Packages is to let families know there is a community who supports them.

Our Care Packages contain resources: books to assist the bereaved and lists of community support groups and other organizations that exist to help people through this very difficult crisis.
Generous authors and publishers have donated or significantly discounted their books to support this effort.  Because this project is in part dependent on these contributions, the contents of the packages may vary slightly.

How it works

  • You order an Care package for the family in need.  Based on our current stock of books, we may be able to semi-customize the package to include resources for school-aged children, if appropriate.
  • You add a message of support if desired.
  • We send/deliver a Care Package to the family in your name.

Many Thanks to the Authors, Publishers & Organizations Supporting this Project
